Spiritualism? Can we see or speak with the dead?
Next Travelodge Talk.
(Sorry for the poor quality of the image! I had problems making it into a jpeg.)
Our next Travelodge talk will take place on Tuesday, 6th January. This time, our own member Kevin Rawlings will talk about Bible teaching on economics, money, and how we can see beyond the financial anxieties that exist today.
Come and listen to our Bible talk on Darwin and evolution on Tuesday, 7.30pm on December 2nd at Walsall Travelodge, Birmingham Road, Walsall.
We’re holding a couple of Christmas sing-song events in December. They will both be good fun in their own way. You’re welcome to come to either or both: Carol singalong at 20 Dingley Road, 16 December Come around to sing carols and Christmassy songs. Share mince pies, and mulled wine if you’re lucky. Feel free to bring additional instruments. This is not a “carol service” and is intended to be informal and fun. Some of us are good singers, but no particular singing talent is required or expected to enjoy this. But if you feel up to performing, this will also act as practice for… Caroling around the neighbourhood, 18 December We’ll take our show on the road and go carol around the neighbourhood. Feel free to join us, or give us a ring if you especially want us to visit your house. Just make sure you have some figgy pudding at the ready. More details to follow…
Just to remind you of our cookie and craft sale coming up this Friday, God willing. It’s in aid of the Africrafts charity, and it’s at 20 Dingley Road, WS10 9PU, from 2pm-7pm. Feel free to pop by, if you get chance!
God willing we will be hosting a coffee morning in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support on Friday, 25 July at 20 Dingley Road, Wednesbury (map). It will start around 10 and finish some time in the early afternoon. We’re not expecting you to come for the whole thing — just drop around whenever’s convenient.
Please come along for a cup of coffee or two, some cake, and a chat. Everyone’s welcome to this — we hope to meet as many of our new neighbours as possible. Just bring a pound or two for charity if you can.
We continue to hold our regular reading group on Wednesdays, and as usual you are welcome to that too.
